Incredibly short. The only thing that stopped me was the map hint. Hiding a code in the darkness is kinda lazy, if I'm being honest. It really doesn't stick out at all.

I probably have a lot of bruises now because of the punching i got
While I don't like point and click adventure games, this really is good. It's mostly because of how good the artwork is. I got a really good feeling of detail playing this. I think the main pirate is himself some fish creature. It was weird to see him like that. I like the creaking of the chair(s?).
You have created a great atmosphere. I have no idea on what to do with the chest. I haven't gotten far at all. Isn't Tortuga some Mario villain? It just sounds familiar.
I found all of the symbols for the chest. When I put them in (and I put them in the correct order), the chest does not open.
Other then that, it's a great game.
Challenging
Wow, maybe I just wasn't catching on, or maybe it was just that difficult. Either way I spent a good twenty minutes working on this one! The content and format makes a great homage to Monkey Island.
