Good
Its a good game idea and well implemented, but unfortunately this is one of the hardest games to play on a laptop :-(

its good but you cant get the ball if it goes right up against the wall, you should fix the clipping for that. really good for a first flash though

Pretty good
I liked the creepy art and the lights in the background, but the center starting point for the ball and the problem with the ball at the side of the stage were somewhat annoying. also it needs sound even if it's only a background track playing on repeat.

I wanted to add sound! And I had a little movie to put at the beginning, but because of the due date, I didn't have time to do either. Also, I never figured out how to put either of them in. ;_;

Lets start with the good. The paddle and background were well drawn, and the birds fading out was done well.
How about some improvements. When the ball is at the edge of the screen, it can't be hit. The player has to mouse over to start, then the ball immediately appears in the middle, kinda hard to reach. When the ball is missed, a new one immediately appears in the middle, again hard to reach if it passed beside the paddle where it couldn't be reached. I would suggest a start button that appears in the middle of play, or click wherever to serve, and allowing the player to reserve when they miss.
