Seriously, awesome game. I had a game time playing it and artwork is good, too. I'm thinking about getting a Dandy shirt. I'm not sure.

Err, what?
I really liked the flying/shooting gameplay, but what was the point? You play as some dumb guy with a disproportionate head and an even more disproportionate top-hat, and you shoot poor creatures to get candy.
Maybe re-use the gameplay with an intelligent character and plot.
Also, I liked the Edwardian/Period sort of theme

this is one of the funnest and most addicting shooters i've played in a while. the levels were interesting, the names of said levels were funny and mysterious, and the main character was the definition of sugar-crazed guy on a lollipop.
pros:
very addictive
nice weapons
interesting powerups
great design
fun bonus levels
cons:
button-mashing after a while
invulnerability was too easily attained
bosses were underpowered
the 'friendship monsters' just sort of sat around.
Enjoyable.
The game was good enough to keep me playing through all levels. The art was fun in a crazy, candy-wielding, homocidal, Nightmare-Before-Christmas-Meets-Cand yland kind of way. The weapons were interesting and the music was catchy.
However it has it's downside.
The levels were a bit long, it got boring sitting there hitting the fire button over and over again.
After the first level the others are a breeze. You can just keep pressing the fire button and you'll make it through.
Invincibility is too easy to reach, I played through the final 2 levels with it almost the whole way.
The character should have changed with his weapon and/or world, Mr. Dandy gets kinda boring.
The chapter titles only give us a vague story. If a sequel is made (which I would definitely play) I would like a nice plot to back up the action.
Other than that, a nice game and a definite replay.
