Pretty cool
Well , I like your animation and drawing . Sides , the music fits perfectly . It gives the feeling my creepyness .
However , it's pretty short..the plot pretty vague . The scares aren't really there...the ending just exploits shocked due to loud noise(you'll get that if someone blow a trumpet beside your ears).
If it's fear of children......try clowns(we all are scared of clowns , during child age?definitely) , dolls(female dolls,to be excat) , closet(what is it in the closet?what is it that is watching me from the closet?) .Just my opinion .

the animation was really nice. i liked that the whole dream sequence was done with a red version of greyscale (not sure if there's a better term for that...) and the music fit the animation perfectly; a sort of ominous, child-like melody for a short film of childhood nightmare. my only real complaint is that the underwater view looked a bit sketchy in comparison with the rest of the animation. the running issue didn't matter much to me since it wasn't on screen for too long. nice work man.

My only problem with it is the hand blur animation.
I think they could have been done with tweening for a cleaner and more normal appearance.
