great joB!

this sounds like a totally different song... in fact this would have been fantastic for the begging of the song and than it burst out in his version!

youre amazing

this song . i heard it before and i didnt realize it at first. but honest to god, your amazing .. you do play all this right (ofcourse adding in synths and meshing it on some sort of program but you get what i mean dont you.)? like do you play some of this on the piano or any of your songs? i love it when people can play instruments. i play the piano but only about 5 songs.. whatever your amazing keep up he good work and you should keep in contact with me . ill be your #1 admirer. well for the music part.. i mean you are handsome. but thats besides the point. ok ill shut up. bye

DavidOrr responds:

Every part in my orchestral music (including percussion) is played through the keyboard. I do play the piano (have played for about 14 years now), a smattering of the violin, and a host of percussive instruments.

I'll eventually put some recordings of me actually performing on my website since I've gotten quite a few requests, but right now, the only piece that I played without modifying on the computer is my Nocturne. The version on Newgrounds is exactly how I played it, not a single not was modified.

Thanks for the review!

This is simply too good.

I like the original Defcon Zero by Paragonx9, but you have simply put it into something that has trapped me in a trance. It has a good science fiction-fantasy theme, which to me is one of the best types of pieces. By the way, I can't believe I've finally found someone intelligent on Newgrounds. You recognized this is a piece, not a song!!!!!!! :)

so.. awesome

this is like the most emotional song ive ever heard X3 i mean... ive played kingdom hearts.. final fantasy and stuff. if i ever hear this music in combination with a very emotional scene in a game/movie... im not going to keep it dry.

AWESOME!

Brings me tears. Happy tears.

The most wonderful remix I've ever heard of an extremley good song. Reminds me of one of the most wonderful games I've ever played, Chrono Trigger, too, so I guess anyone with 16-bit JRPG nostalgia will love this purely for the references they can make.
T-up!
