Reviews for "Hunted Forever"

A very high caliber game.

This game is incredible. I could play this for hours. Nice work.

great fun

Brilliant in its simplicity. For a flash game, this was a fun little game. I enjoy it visually, the dry sense of humor, and the simple controls. Now, what I would have liked to see playing the game: some traps, maybe some ways to slow down the machine, or actually being able to fight it at the end of the game. I know it may not tie into the rest of the tone of the game, but it would have been very satisfying as the one playing. Overall though, great game. Great game.

This game is awesome

it was ok

Like if Portal and N-game had a retarded kid

needs to be cleaned up a bit more

I'll give you 9 because the visuals and controls were stunning.

Only a few problems that need to be rectified:
-the weapons that the machine uses; having a chainsaw drone launched at me when I am in a narrow tunnel is not fun. Give it some sort of intelligence. Devise a few more weapons and some intelligence in chosing them based on your location. It's not smart using a laser when it's floating through the solid rock. It would be intelligent if it filled the tunnel in front of me with temporary acid.

-more useful/visible upgrades. how about a clone of yourself that runs off away from you that distracts the machine for 20 seconds when you are navigating a tricky area? How about a jetpack that you can activate for 5 seconds instead of climbign all the way back up there. Have each of these purchasable upgrades recharge over time. Disposable upgrades simply won't do in this game

-a minimap of areas that you have already visited would be really great, or at least a complete map that pops up when you get to a safe zone. You know how fog of war works in RTS games? Have something like that so we can pause and then go back to the fuzzy areas we missed before moving on. You can't expect us to keep replaying it until we have your maps memorized.

-a map editor with an online speed challenge mode. Make a map editing tool that can scan a map to see if it's possible. no upgrades allowed in this mode. then you can upload it and people from anywhere can compete for the fastest time on user-created maps. There's another game here that uses that system but I forget which one it is.

I'm going to favourite this for now, but i'll be waiting for a perfected second version. If you're going to be lazy and leave it as it is, then there's no hope for you.
