Reviews for "Crow Clock-Death to Rasp-"

Done well, but....

This thing still blows. What kind of thing is "<Insert Food Here> Clock?" It's a gay thing, but it was done alright.

Nice animation

Nice animation, good story. Well done indeed.

A chilling tale of Raspberry's past.

An impressive entry from fourchinnigan.
The music fit very nicely for the story of RaspberryClock's past and CrowClock's revenge.
My favourite part was the battle in the portal. It wasn't the action itself but the portrayal of the portal as a different dimension or world and how the author blurred andn altered it nicely so it was believable.

The story build up nicely from the beginning and it was animated very well.
What I do not understand is some of the low reviews of this short. It is as if some people did not watch the clip at all.

The entry was suspenseful and hard a dark feel to it yet it was also humourous at the same time.

The way the clocks moved was fluid and portrayed motion very well. The dialogue was also fitting.

The music was timed really well. For example, "I am the way of the future" was synced very well with the action.

Excellent job Mr. Chinny.
FIFENS!

This is what a flash movie should be like!

All that I can say is one word: WOW! This is the best clock crew related movie ever. It had everything and is an excelent deffinition of what a flash movie can be. It looks like you put alot of work into this even thought I know nearly nothing about making good flash movies. Anyways I hope there will be a squel, something like "the return of Crow Clock". Anyways keep up the good work and I hope to see more movies like this in the future.

fourchinnigan responds:

Actually, this is a perfect example of me not putting a lot of work into a movie. :) But thanks for the praise.

Excellent Film!

I must say when I first loaded this I was anticipating a terrible anti-clock film, but I was pleasantly surprised. For starters, the animation is smooth and fantastic. Secondly, the music rocks, and use of the infamous voice-to-speech is minimal (although when it is used for different characters, different tones are present, making it a step above most other voice-to-speech on the portal); straight up text does this one quite well. Thirdly, and most important, there's a very original, coherent plot. We understand who Crow Clock is and why he wants to hurt the clocks, as opposed to him being some random guy who wants to kill the clocks because its l33t to hate clocks, and even though its serious, at the same time there's a light-hearted sense to it (particularly when the audience finds out what Crow Clock was). Excellent job - proof that there can still be a successful satire and good animation in the film. The ending sets up for a sequel quite nicely too... will there be one? This is certainly more deserving of a sequel than Beebo, or XIAOXIAO, or anything else right now.
