Great game!

I enjoyed the hell out of this, good job!

Graphics - 10/10 - I loved the artwork in this game, it is obviously is very influenced by Metal Slug, but that is one of the reasons I enjoyed it as much as I did. It was simple yet very effective.

Gameplay - 8/10 - The game is both fun and challenging, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was both engaging and entertaining, without being overly easy, even on lower difficulty levels. I do have two small complaints however. Firstly, while there were a good number of varying enemies, I felt more could have been included. At later stages it felt like the game was being made harder by throwing more and more of the same baddies at you, rather than introducing new, more powerful ones. My second complaint is that the first Mech Suit is in my view actually more effective than the other one. The Mech Suit has a high rate of fire, so it seemed to kill much faster. The NEO-Mech Suit was more powerful, but the laser took ages to charge, so it wasn't nearly as effective as the railgun. Otherwise, good stuff.

Sound - 9/10 - Sound was fine, and the music was apt. I was a little disappointed that it became stale after a while, and in my view the sound seemed to get more recycled as the game progressed. However, this was only a minor flaw.

Overall - 9/10 - A fun game that challenges you without being overly unfair on the player. Barring some minor flaws it is a great piece of work that is both involving and enjoyable. I hope to see more of the same from you in the future.

Good game

But fairly easy though. I played on hard. Just buy 1 damage increase first. Then go for the headshots, the more bullets (weak) you fire, the more chance on a headshot. I also liked the variety of attacks, like the leaper. The larger 'arena' was also nice, this way you could set up a defense against the undead horders.

Improved a lot

This is a lot better then the first version of this game. The zombies are harder, and attack in more ways. The mech as a new element to the game and the character can finally jump! All I have to say is stellar job with making this a much better game. If I could offer one suggestion, for the next installment (if their is one) add different types of grenades.

Sick game!

This game was sick! I love metal slug and I really like how this game was put together. I ended up playing until lvl 64 and got bored of owning zombies and quit. But still i give this game a 9 because it was pretty damn good and kept me occupied for a good while.

Positives
This is a major improvement to your first game, with the stage being much bigger, and even it being able to side-scroll!
The amount of upgrades were increased by the new addition of the mech-suits, these were a massive help and made the game a lot easier in times of stress
Negatives
Aside from the improvements, i have to say some things to improve on for next time
The mech-suits, sometimes seemed overpowered, in small hordes of weaker zombies, it just cleaned through them, and in times of fast and jumping zombies, it wasn't powerful enough, so mine ended up blowing up
The fast zombies, were again, way too fast, and so even with the suits, i got my ass handed to me.
Besides those two, this game was a much bigger success then the first
So, overall, this game is pretty much the same, but with great improvements
I will give Zombie Survival; Outbreak, a 4.5 star rating, well done Placeable!
