It was really nice
I liked the way the game was laid out. It was simplistic enough for anyone to pick up and start playing. Earning a very high score was not all that hard and it made the edge of the game more competitive for me. Your graphics were on par with the game style. Your music choice really added to the beat and made things even more jumpy.
Now, a few things I noticed. 1) The major cause of death for me was the missile. I almost always got hit by it and I would always fall behind and get crushed or forced to fall. being that the platform heights are random as it is, it can become too difficult to recover from the missile strike. The bombs were actually helpful however and gave me a boost in distance when I needed it. Your time clocks were a little off too. Some were so high up and others so low, which told me that like the platforms, they are random too. Perhaps you could've coded the game so that the clocks would appear at a proportional height at all times with the platforms. The last thing I noticed was the jumping. I found the controls wonky as I got to 1000 feet. What I mean is that I wasn't ON the platform but it seemed like I was double jumping. Other times I looked like I was going to fall through, but then I landed on a platform way ahead. And after the 1000 mark, aim was less of a priority. The focus was not landing, it was keeping in the air. As long as I had the right and up keys pressed, I was pretty much coasting through the game. So maybe that would be something to look into.
Other than that, you have a really good game here. Its one of those games where you start and don't stop for a LONG time. Keep up the good work
