- Also what do you use for your strings?
Mine are too artificial as you've heard

MaestroSorrow responds:

I use Edirol Orchestral for all my songs, so I would recommend you getting it also.

Your music teh rocks as well, hope you keep them coming ^^.

Yay for Maestro!

You know i just realized all your music would go great with a RPG. Keep the great work up!

MaestroSorrow responds:

that is my initial goal for every song I make. All RPG related material, as I do them for friends and people I work with.

Many thanks for the review ^^.

Did you do this just for me or somethin'?

just noticed mortal? ive been saying it from the beginning. ive been planning it from the beginning. ive been mentioning something along those lines in like, every single review.

Anyway, moving on. I really like this new battle theme element to Dancing. I swear, sometimes you do it just for me... which is why i have to hire you away before someone else does. hehe.

MaestroSorrow responds:

I loves ya Shadow and you know it ^^. I'm done with my "dancing" routine, i'm onto my next genre... it's time I started doing some "happy" tunes. Everything I make is so depressing :'( and angry.

Many thanks for the review ^^.

Great!

Yet again, another polished production. The strings were fantastic and the piano was superb, especially at the end where you drop the beat. The harmony with the violins works wonderfully

As a side note, it's different, but that last part was slightly reminiscent of Linkin Parks "In the End", at the end of that track.

The mid-rangy percussion needs to go in my opinion, the conga/snare type sound detracts from the beautiful classical flow you have going.

And I'm missing the grand timpani rolls you put in some of your other songs. Nice crashes, but the volume seemed to drop off a bit too fast.

Great track though, not many can get strings to conjure up such atmosphere and power.

MaestroSorrow responds:

you know, I ask myself, what the hell I was thinking when I put those damn conga snare things.

To tell you the truth, that is one snare sound, spliced, and pitched up and down and flayed with effects. I guess I was on my "lets see what happens if..." sprees ^^. The modified version will be up, and this will be wiped. Thank you for confirming my suspicions.

And for you, i'll put the timpini's in there ;).

To answer your side note, I was not aware at all of that, but to be honest I love Linken Park, and the melodies they present (A bit whiny sometimes in my opinion, but oh the melodies!), but you are right, I may have been affected subconciously! (the bastards)

Thanks for the review man ^^.

I Like It

Each of your peices project raw emotions you put into them and each peice also summons a new story into my mind. I bow to your skills yet again your music has given me so much inspirtion i just don't know how to thank you. Your music is so much more than songs though it awakens the imagination of your listeners and haunts their dreams, your place in life is true and your art is a powerful device. Keep up the good work, never give up because even the smallest action can make the world change in big ways.

MaestroSorrow responds:

And you have nailed the very thing I try to do with every one of my songs. Each song I post, are songs I fuse a story into, a image in my head that screams to be played out.

Writing a song, is like writing a book, each note a word, each bar a paragraph. Song's just fly by quicker then books do ;).

Thank you for your words and your review, they mean a lot to me.
