no wonder it got a game based off it it rocks
Such a great game it controls amazing and its so fun but i have to take off 1 point because some people won't want to play it do to it being to hard and frustrating even in the first world but that doesnt take away the fact its so great i don't have the video game and i don't plan on getting it cause im not that good at them and itll be to hard for me but i can tell it will be amazing if the newgrounds flash is an almost perfect game
I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this game. See, I love SMB, And I decided today, "Hey, Lets finally go play the original Meat Boy.". So.. Here I am... My overall comment, Is impressed. I thought it had good(But admittedly cheap) level design, And the graphics were pretty beautiful. I do have a few complaints however. (I know it's pointless to make complaints, because this was just the prototype of SMB but still) First, Is one addressed before. The collision. It's spotty, and at times, I found myself standing on a solid block and dying because the next block over was salt or fire. The second, Is probably the hyper-sensitive controls. Now, I wouldn't say that you "Fly to China" with every press of a key, But I know that if you are standing in the middle of a block, and you press one of the directional keys, you will sometimes fall to your death. It also makes it difficult to aim your jumps on occasion. Speaking of jumps, Number three, is wall jumping. I thought it was the computer lagging, But after reading some of the comments, it turns out it's just the game. I didn't break my spacebar, But I did yell out of frustration when Meat Boy failed to jump off of a wall. Other than those few, and in some situations almost gamebreaking, flaws, It was a great game. I applaud you, and I encourage you to keep up the good work.
