good idea
but it could use a TON of features! like, the ability to share the drawings in maybe a pub or something, a simple 'undo' and 'redo' buttons, an 'eraser'-like something so we wouldn't always have to pick a black-colored, high-powered... drawing... device. also, a nicer-looking interface would really improve this, as the buttons get in the way of the canvas. these little improvements aren't too hard to implement, right? anyway, a fun little gadget. :D

It won't register my mouse clicks. Did you handle mouse clicks in a MOUSE_DOWN event or a KEY_DOWN event and check for the key with key code 1? If you did the latter, then you need to fix it, cause the mac version of flash player doesn't recognize the mouse as a key.
I set a bool to true with MOUSE_DOWN then if thats true on MOUSE_MOVE it drew (basically), rather than setting the event in mouse down then removing in mouse up, but, still, yeah. You told me it works now anyway, strange >_< I'll look into it :)
Nice But Missing A Few Things.
I Loved It, but i was a little frustrated that if i made a mistake i had to start all over, you need some sort of erase tool, and mabye a fill button then its perfect :)!<3
