Reviews for "Commando 2"

White screen of dispair xD

lol its been like 10 min and still a white screen lol hahahah so lame

what the hell

i couldnt even try the game because the loading screen keepss showing a blank white screen.

doesn't load

When I run this game it just loads a white screen with a version # in the lower left corner.

I have the latest version of flash and no issues on my end.

Is anyone else able to load this as of my review?

People are pissed about the site redirect.. is that a popup and does it occur at the very start of the game?

Great game, Bad choices

Really high-quality work here, but very lame redirecting to another site. Verges on spam.

So within the level presented here, here are some comments...

There are some gaps in the art in the sloping parts of the mine.

As long as you're being a blatant rip, er, HOMAGE to Metal Slug, you may as well go the full monty and preserve things like automatically switching to the blade when the player is right next to an enemy, because otherwise, you can't hit them without scrolling weapons, which really isn't convenient when you're getting it from all sides.

Oh, what's REALLY lame is that the weapon crates only restock the EQUIPPED weapon, so if you're down to your pistol and run over one, you've completely wasted it. Again, having to scroll through weapons to find the one you'd like to restock is a pain in the ass, especially if you're in the middle of action. Just keep the weapons coming on a regular basis. One of the fun things about Metal Slug is that there's almost always another weapon boost around the corner so the action just keeps coming. The RPG-ish weapon selection is a nice idea, but it ends up detracting from the fun.

The camera scrolling could stand to be improved on the upward slopes so you're not hitting your head on the top of the screen.

Okay, some nice things. I do like playing it with the mouse. It gives you some more flexibility than does Metal Slug.

I REALLY like that you made the controls completely customizable. It's just ridiculous how few games, even professional ones, allow this.

Great art. Maybe a bit much brown, but really surpassing quality stuff for a free online game.

It's really hard to assign an overall score. It should be a 10, but the weapon scrolling and just being a demo taint the overall experience, so...

Level Two does indeed have a problem.

And I can't believe how easy it is to fix.

Good game otherwise, fix it and you might have a Real good one.
