Reviews for "Transformers Mediocrity 2"

Witty, Satirical, and full of Laughs!

Dear Andrew Coe,

I am sorry to say that I have not yet watched Transformers Mediocrity 1. However, I don't think I needed to, as this sequel stands on its own as one SLAGGINGLY funny flash that pokes infinite fun at the Transformers universe.

The artwork was pretty much "mediocre" at its best, but I can't deny that they were very fluid and clean. I liked your recreations of the original Transformers from the 1980s era; they were easily recognisable and really brought back some nostalgia from when I was a kid. In fact, the entire flash brought back some pretty good memories. You chose to use the Transformers 1986 theme song for the opening, which was awesome and still awesome today. The transition from Autobots to Decepticons were great, especially when you used the original soundtrack for it.

The voice acting, for the most part, was superb. Prime's voice didn't really sound like Peter Cullen's, but hey, Egoraptor's voice still sounds awesome on its own. Megatron and Starscream's voices were fantastic! They really sounded like their old 1980s counterparts. But the most awesome voice of all has to be Ironhide. That was some fine, professional voice acting, complete with a texas accent, and superb use of lingo such as "a few times a stellar cycle". I would also like to give a bow to the phone operator for lending her nice voice in this flash. Overall, voice acting was top-notch and professional.

I love how you used most of the Transformers mythology, legends, merchandise and flaws to your advantage in this flash. You must be a true Transformers fan to have that extensive knowledge, as Odbarc mentioned. And I believe that you actually OWN that Megatron toy at the end of the flash, don't you? So I believe that the "crotch" joke must have been true.

There were a couple of Transformers jokes that I found exceptionally funny, one of it being a smart use of lingo. I realised that from the start to finish, despite the obvious shrewd and lewd themes, not a single swear word was said (apart from "bitch" as soundwave had said), with the F-words cleverly disguised as "slag", and crap as "scrap", and "hack" which interestingly fits very well within the Transformers dictionary.

Then you poked fun at the legends surrounding Transformers, such as Cybertron being Primus (Loved that scene and the joke about his "tall" building and escapades with his brother Unicron ) and The Transformers created by the Quintessons (as Bumblebee lovably calls them "squid-people"). It was pretty accurate how you made Prime contact Primus through his Spark!

You also referenced the 2007 movie really well in this flash, such as the talk about the All Spark, the World Wide Web, and Megatron's plans to sell his toys on Ebay. Your internet jokes were funny as hack! I almost fell off my chair laughing when Megatron mentioned about the 2 girls 1 cup video. That was really unexpected! And considering the fact that I just watched that video 3 months ago. A word of warning to those who are curious: Don't watch it on a full stomach!

Then it all ended in a flash, to an awesome ending music from one of the funniest yet pointless scenes in the Transformers 1986 movie. I really miss the good old days when Transformers was the hype of its day.

Overall, I really liked the creativity and accuracy of the jokes presented in this 4.4MB of laughs. The entire thing just breathes "quality" and a "5-star" rating, despite the simple artwork and animations. I would really like to know how you managed to synthesize the voices to make Megatron and Starscream's voices.

I believe that those with a strong sense of humour, and a vast knowledge of the internet and the Transformers Universe can truly appreciate the hilarity of this outstanding work. I guess all that reading on Wikipedia, and reruns of the original movie really paid off.

There was not a dull moment in this flash, despite its modest length. The jokes were intelligently done, the punchlines were classic, and I loved how you made fun of everything!

You also get a plus point, simply because you got Egoraptor into this!

AAAAAHAHAHAHAHA

OMG! That was FAN-SLAGGIN-TASTIC!!! I never watched the Transformer cartoons before but this was so funny that it makes me want to. Mediocrity! Hahahaha
Really nice work by a pro I see.

Dare to be ... funny.

You seem pretty knowledgeable about Transformers to write all these jokes.
From the toys to the lore. Unless that Megatron-toy-trigger wasn't real.

Excellent job.

lol, awesome

Ok, I forgot all about the first one, and here's a second one, I laughed harder to this one and I love all the little things that only most TF fans would know, excellent work, can't wait for another :D

Hilarious

Very very funny. Thanks.
