Reviews for "Microbe Kombat"

Very fun

I like the concept of this game really original

im not sure if you changed anything for microbe

on newgrounds, but it was great everywhere else

HeroInteractive responds:

Thank you! No we didn't change anything for Newgrounds.

Yeah

I think a lot of people didn't get the whole idea of the game. I mean, of course you can't eat microbes that are eating you, they're bigger than you. That's just common sense. The fact that it takes a while to chomp down on the little buggers just makes it harder. If you want to play a game that doesn't require any effort, well, whatever. I thought the game was pretty fun.

Cleary Spore inspried.

You tried to make a game that somewhat resembled the Cell Stage of Spore, and it would have been decent if not for the bad detection when trying to eat another Microbe.

HeroInteractive responds:

Nope! We did NOT try to make this game look like Spore. We were developing this game before we really knew what the cell stage of Spore would be like. Besides, just because there are microbes eating other microbes does not mean that the game is really in any way like Spore. There are major differences between the two games.

Really, really obnoxious

This game would have been fantastic save for one thing: your microbe takes about half an hour to open his stupid mouth, and then another half an hour to close it. If your enemy just keeps turning, he's completely invulnerable unless you can predict which way he's going to turn (which you can't). So basically you have to hope your enemy will just go straight in one direction long enough for you to eat him.

HeroInteractive responds:

That does make the game a bit challenging, I agree. But you wouldn't want to play an easy game would you? Haha! We'll keep your ideas in mind for the future, though, thanks.
