Reviews for "Microbe Kombat"

The game was alright with a few problems

When you start out small, it's very easy to die and difficult to get those protiens with large swarms of enemies, and when you try to get a large swarm of your own they get eaten almost immediatly. Then when you get larger, if you don't divide, it's almost impossible to lose. Even while you're infected you can eat other microbes and proteins to stay alive, it's almost too easy then.

Maybe if you remake it you can try to make different looking allies and place obstacles that don't necessarily hurt you but are more for the feel of terrain. The powers were nice but it would be awsome to have some sort of power to shot at the enemy. Other than that, the game was OK and good for killing time, so nice job and keep up the good work.

HeroInteractive responds:

Thanks for all of your constructive criticism, Csine. We're glad that other than those things you enjoyed yourself, and we'll keep your ideas in mind for future games or if we do anything else with this game, though we're not planning to right now. Thanks again!

i like it

a nice game nice powerups.
i always liked that kind of game.

Good but very annoying

It was hard for me to eat another thing it took me a bunch of clicks, and sometimes I couldn't eat the red dots when I went up to it I stopped. BTW is that a pentagram in level one? Wierd.

HeroInteractive responds:

Hmmmm....If there IS a pentagram in the game it wasn't intentional. Now we're going to have go look for it!

you have stolen an idea from "grow" game :P

and realized it not in the best way :P

HeroInteractive responds:

We have not stolen anything from anyone and it shows incredibly poor judgment to go around throwing out accusations like that. Thanks.

its like

a carbon copy of the first level of spore

fun, but a copy

HeroInteractive responds:

COPY/PASTE!
I can't tell you how many comments like this I've responded to. Let me just hit the main points of my usual rant for you:
1) This is NOT, I repeat, NOT a Spore copy.
2) The only similarity between Microbe Kombat and Spore is that they both have cellular stages that require you to grow. The design is COMPLETELY different.
3) The "eat something and grow larger" concept is NOT new to games. In fact it's used over and over again and again in MANY games. Are all of those Spore copies, too?
4) This game was in development before anyone at Hero Interactive even knew what the cell stage of Spore would look like.

Thank you.
