"carol to the old ones"
I am a big fan of Lovecraft and giant monsters.
Everything that is a friend of Lovecraft's is a friend of mine!!! AWESOME! Literally... AWE-SOME!!!
Thanks, friend!
Makes me think of a blend between the Great Old One, Cthulu and Abhoth, one of the Outer Gods (best described in this passage from Clark Ashton Smith's "Seven Greases":
"There were things like bodiless legs or arms that flailed in the slime, or heads that rolled, or floundering bellies with fishes' fins; and all manner of things malformed and monstrous, that grew in size as they departed from the neigbborhood of Abhoth."
But yeah, I think you perfectly captured both the epic scale and terror of Lovecraftian and Cosmic horror with this piece. Good job mate!
I really like this idea that cosmic horrors from higher dimensions tend to appear as disembodied limbs and tentacles to us.
I just stare at this and imagine it being a real thing and how crazy it would be to stand there and look up at it. That would be super creepy.
Glad you like it, sir!
