Reviews for "Mental Training"

Very nicely done

This is a good game, very easy though, but i can see the potential of it working for very young kids at a young age, for a sequel i'd make one a little harder, for like year levels, that should work :) hopefully it does

great!!

not amazing for the older age range, however, i think that this is a great way to teach children (ecpecially the less co-operative ones) comparison and improve their eye sight!!

Well made, but boring.

Everything was put together amazingly. No bugs, cute characters, music that wasn't crazily annoying. The only problem I found was the weight puzzles, all you have to be able to do is quickly add the numbers to see which was bigger, which was really a pain since arithmetic is rarely anyone's favorite thing to do.

You should try making the weight one funner by making it so you have to make the weights equal instead of telling which ones bigger, by limiting the choices of the weights per how many you get to choose and what weight size you can use.

The currency was the same thing, but with a slight twist which makes it much more acceptable.

You should continue making more, hopefully with more puzzles.

An interesting game that has Potential.

It's a good game that kept me occupied for a good 10-20 minutes, but there's a load of things I noticed:

1: The challenge stays the same after completion. This changes after you get a New Mental, but that's still there. A bit of randomization would help there. (Credit to Waterbongoose for noticing this).

2. The Timer system. A useful gadget that forces you to think quicker. People tend to work best when under a time limit. But it could be affected by slower computers, even in Low Quality. Maybe it could be tweaked specifically for each Quality type?

3. The games are fun and challenging, but I would like to see more games and game types. You know, to mix it up a bit. Playing just those four games tends to get repetitive and boring. I was thinking of a new game mode to add here:

Genius Mode: Play all the games in a Random Order until you run out of time. Completing a game earns 5 seconds. Go for the top score and top time!

Some click and Drag puzzles would be neat to see, and maybe even something like Balancing or even Mazes or Puzzles of sorts would be great.

Like the Summary said, the game has a great Potential. I'd love to play the next version.

Good, but...

some of the comparison options are buggy when you get to Einstein. There's one weight screen where both sides add up to 40, and a couple in each game where the smaller number is the one you're supposed to click. Fix that and take away some of the repetitiveness and you're golden.
