The sprites were messed up in a few places and the sounds were a little off, but I liked it. :D

It's not bad. It just needs a little editing. Your speech bubbles went off screen, and some parts didn't make sense (in the video, it says "meanwhile" while it actually was later). I know that I'm sounding really picky right now. Sorry about that.

After watching this and your other Matio movies...
Your sprite animation work in this one is excellent. However, your speech balloons are sometimes partially off the screen, and they use a hard-to-read font, not to mention the letters are pretty small.
In addition, your animations could use some better plots. If you have trouble telling a story, I suggest you collaborate with someone who can help you develop better stories.

The animation was good (even though they were sprites) although it just didn't make any sense. You should stop wasting you time on these things and make some animations with a story in it.
3 points for animation.
1 point for the overused song.
0 points for story/lack of sense.
