Reviews for "T. TotallyBS, Lucky Star!"

Lucky chanel!

I liked it. okay, the main part wasn't that good, the lucky chanel part however was bloody briljant ^o^ ! Those words could havebeen comign straight ut of Akira's mouth.

I agree

and also change the acting voice... these suppose to be little Japanese girls, not a hooters waitress. (sorry, but you know you could do it better and you didnt)
the script needs work... And what's with the skunks? Some music would help to ease the time of the video.
Yep, it would be better if you do it in group... work alone sucks.
Never be embarrassed to ask for help to other authors, or your firends.

omegafinal responds:

Actually, they are high school girls, it's just the fact that the original creator made them look younger than they really are. Akira's the most likely the youngest as she's about 14, but if you've seen the show, you know why she's like that.

The skunks are a "Totally BS!" staple. Since this is their third appearance, I decided to just blow up their appearance. If you think about it, they are integrated into the narrative and not like Trigun's Kuroneko-sama.

The reason I wrote this on my own is because it's a "gift" to one my favorite clubs in college. The next one might a collaboration where each one writes their own mini episode. There is a reason why there are seperate "episode titles" followed by who wrote it. But that will be a long time until I get to it. My next project is a drama that I've working on. And yes, I'm writing this by myself.

What?!

You are the best in perfecting animates, but your humor sucks. keep on the work but let someone else write the script!

omegafinal responds:

I'll admit that smart humor is not my strong point; but for what it is, a simple "welcoming video", it's alright to me. I might collab with someone to write the next "That's Totally BS!" since it's going to be a tough one.

You bashed Francine Louise

That's not cool man, personally, she's been an extremely valuable resource. Seeing as how you used her in the movie itself I can see it was a joke, and reguardless to the fact, I still don't rate this movie highly due to the bland graphics and lack of sound effects. Like when that thing exploded or when the girl hit the screen, no booms or cracks.

Also, didn't care for the script or animation style, the characters just kinda sat around not doing much but talking. Meh. Try harder.

omegafinal responds:

Well everyone who auditioned for Akira, including Fran, knew what they were getting into, and I'm glad she's been a great sport. That last bit was ad libbed by her. If anything, this shows that she had fun with the role in my opinion. Last thing I want is a VA that didn't have fun in the role.

The sound effects originally suppose to use my voice in an odd manner, which I did record but it was inaudible. I came down a sore throat unfortunately, so I had to leave them out. I might update it with some sound effects in the future.

If you've seen the actual show, in some class scenes, that's all they do, sit and talk. Although I could've added more to the Akira scene.

george

Well I didn't understand the content, but i'll rate it on the animation: In my opinion, everything was beautiful, especially the little smoke effects. Voices were also stunningly perfect.

Good job.

omegafinal responds:

It's meant to be a "Welcoming Video" for the RIT Anime Club, and some of the references are tailored towards them. You may read the Director's Notes for more info.
