Reviews for "Shuriken Ninja"

pfft

lots of bugs but its a saver keep it up

Reddeye responds:

Yeah I know that there are issues. I just wanted to put it up to gauge things. Thanks for responding. It was a bit rushed with it being a class project. I had to completely change my plan half way through too. Thanks again.

I liked it!

I think it's pretty neat for a first flash game. I guess the only gripes I may have are that I think killing the enemies respond a little slow and that actually he's throwing kunai(s) instead of shurikens. But that's okay! I think it's a nice start and it wasn't sloppy at all. Although a little music would also spice it up. Good going!

Reddeye responds:

Thanks. I know I need some more sound. I thought about that, but I wanted to gauge what people thought on what it is. It was a bit rushed with it being a class project. I had to completely change my plan half way through too. Thanks again.

good start

good start for a first flash.

however, there was like a hiding spot.

if you go all the way to the left or right. no one can hit you. lol.

but nevertheless, gj :D

A shooting game with ninjas

That's what it is: a shooting game with ninjas.

I found that you could just go all the way over to the right and still hit the enemy ninjas. Also, it was too easy to kill them; you should make it so that different body parts would do more damage. For example, a hit in the arm wouldn't kill them, whereas a hit to the head would kill them. Also you sould make their heads smaller and be able to hit them in the air and get more poits for it or something.

Keep it up!

While not a total loss...

...there's still room for improvement. The game concept of pop-up and shoot has been done to death, and this is no exception. There is original animation and the game itself isn't bad, but maybe making a life bar for more than one hit, and explaining the controls at the beginning, would add to the game experience, instead of a single-level last-as-long-as-you-can game.
