Reviews for "Pongnop"

A lovely concept ;)

It's such a simple concept, and it still plays very well.

A few minor tweaks should be considered though.

The choice of colours aren't exactly eye-catching. Try to liven the game up.

Maybe a lives system wouldn't be a bad idea.

Give a second option to the user, where they can choose what difficulty they want their game to be throughout.

Well, that's all I can think about now. Good luck with all your future projects ;).

good, but

It was a very fun game, but it was not a very original concept.

Interesting take

I like the new take on Pong, essentially playing two games at once. I realize the game is only to get the highest amount of points possible, so I'm guessing that it's impossible to actually get the ball past the AI paddles, correct? Anyway, it does get decently difficult fairly quickly; I could only make it up to 1605 points on my first try. However, this game lacks replay value; after that first try, I really didn't feel motivated to play it again. I think the music was a little overbearing as well; with music that loud, why even bother to add sound effects?

Fresh? Yes! Adictive... not really

It's a Great idea and it's a good spin on the classic.
Slow at first, would be nice to have an option to start at different levels, its a neat game but pong never got me going.
Very smooth control and I like the spin technique that's possible by hitting the side of the paddle.
Sorry but its good 6 but not an out of this world 10.

A Nice Twist

A good twist on the classic Pong formula. It begs the question why hasn't this been done before? Scoring is simply a function of how long you've been playing, as is difficulty. It would have been nice to choose which difficulty I started with; Playing through "Very Easy" is so tedious.

The graphics are a tad too simple. It would have benefited from a little bit more work on the artistic side to flesh out the experience for me. Basic shapes are nice, but not exactly awe inspiring.

Sound is one looping track that you cant mute. Thankfully it's not too painful a techno track, and is decently long.
