Hmm...

I liked the graphics and stuff but do squids really hurt METAL that much ?
Anyway, for the complexity of that game and the fact that it's hard like the "Megaman" games on the GB (insider) I'll rate you a 7/10.

Oh by the way, your scoreboard is also hackable (or lets say, the score), so you'll be added to my blog, which can be found on my page on NG.

There is no way to hack the score in game so I assume you're using a program. Just because you're able to hack the score doesn't mean you should Eazyy :(. Anyway, I appreciate you letting me know regardless and have deleted the hacked score.

A good start...

the multitasking idea was good (and that is the game's most redeeming factor), but (minus a half a point for each problem):

1) there are only 2 types of opponents
2) you lose life even if you're in proximity to the side walls (which is not a fair way to make the game difficult)
3) speed does not really increase (which would be a simple way to make the game more complex)
4) no upgrades, no weapon variety (which goes hand-in-hand with problem 1)
5) graphics are limited at best (everything is dark, btw)
6) you can lose life even as the level fades out; either don't fade the level or don't make it easy to lose life this way - I actually died at the end of the last level trying this before the game told me "you win"

good concept

the idea of handling two ships at the same time is great
it makes an interesting challenge

but it is missing some things, something that changes the game a little
like changing the horizontal movement to vertical passages
or bosses because after a while the game gets a little boring.

i think a game of boat artillery attaks in which you control
two boats at the same time would be great

anyway, the game is ok so keep up wthe good work.

it's not bad...it's original...but yeah, it does kinda get boring after a while..maybe add something more exciting? like what other people's review says.

It was alright

I really liked the idea, and it was pretty fun. Some things that I didn't like were that there was too much emphasis on shooting stuff, I think it would have been cooler if you made the levels themselves more complex, like the last level, the whole time. Also, numerous times when I would shoot the mine, it would explode and still end up causing damage. Maybe you could fix the "hold the space bar down" approach with limiting ammunition or having to reload after x number of shots. I thought the song was alright, but it didn't really fit the feel that the rest of the game had. Sorry to focus so much on the bad things, it really was a decent game.
