Eh.
If this was more that a demo you'd probably get a lower score, but seeing as you seem to be testing the waters to see how people like this engine, your game isn't bad.
What I'd suggest:
1. Work on the character design. Stick figures don't make a good impression on people. It's fine having one for the demo, but the final game will look much more pollished if you have a real character.
2. Give more control over your jumps and falling motions. I hated the way you just fell straight down or jumped striaght up or to the side. 99% of game developers did away with those kind of jumps in the nineties for a reason.
3. Put more detail into the ship design to give the game more polish, and make it so that you have to press space to enter a level. This will prevent people from accidentally entering levels when the screne becomes crowded with all the levels you've unlocked in the later stages of the game.
4. The level design is pretty good, although you could certainly enhance the graphics a bit. Also, it was a pain that you had to totally restart a level every time you died. Try added lives or something of that sort.
Other than those complaints, this isn't a bad game. Keep on working on it, and I hope to see you on the front page. :)
