Reviews for "NGHH - Fat Beats vs HeavyUrb"

Fat Beats

Honestly, I think Fat Beat's biggest issue is that the whole grime style really hasn't seen the light of day in North America. I thought he was dope.

Fat Beats takes the win.

Fat Beats

Listened to this a few times to get a good view.

Thoughts:
FB - Good flow, vox turned down really low or you don't want your mum to hear you rapping idk but it's hard to understand. Pretty monotone, no dynamics in flow (all doubletime?), decent disses.
HU - Pretty terrible all around, sorry bro you really need some work on your annunciation and flow in particular. The (what I assume was supposed to be) radio sound effect sounded like you slurping a _________, which kinda flipped the gay jokes at that segment back on yourself.

Fat Beats to advance.

Fat Beats

what up. hmmm. puttin structure aside first.
Fat sounded like he was more in it. I wasnt feelin Heavys verses, some of his lines wer alrite comparing, but...jus didnt sound in to it for me, now its not always about the flow but the lyrics jus didnt do it for me either, sides a few of his lines here an there, but even tho Fats was off structure,
I just found he had more to give in this.

FatBeats wins

=Verses 1+2:=
Lyrics: HeavyUrb
- Couldn't really understand FatBeats.
Flow: Fat Beats
- HeavyUrb's flow was a little off.
Style: HeavyUrb
- A much better style. Very nice start too.

=Verses 3+4:=
Lyrics: HeavyUrb
- Pretty damn close.
Flow: Fat Beats
- Again, HeavyUrb's flow was a little off.
Style: Fat Beats
- He seemed clearer this time.

I gave it to Fat Beats because his second verse was the best in the battle.

10 for the beat :D

Haha. You all didn't get the beat though I guess, it was made so long that it was a perfect 16 Bars for each MC, Fat Beats started on the wrong part.

Anyways, Fat Beats, his vocals were far too low with no emotion whatsoever except for the few times when he cussed and raised his voice. I couldn't really understand what he was saying.

I could understand Heavy Urb so I'd have to vote for him.
