Addictive

I'm not sure why so many people voted this so low... maybe because they suck at games? Sure, in REAL LIFE you could shoot a plane anywhere. But in real life, there are no blue hedgehogs, aliens, or mushroom eating plumbers. Well, I could be wrong about that last one. Anyway. The game had passable graphics, and I enjoyed the animated waves in the ocean, that was a cool effect. I liked the game enough to play it over at Earcade and beat it (currently #12 high score, same username as here). The one thing that I found ironic was towards the end, as the Germans and Japanese are getting stomped in the war, there are increasingly more airplanes attacking. Meh, chalk it up to suspension of disbelief. Good job, I'm looking forward to the sequel!

I'd rather play Balloon invasion

Balloon Invasion is a fantastic game, so I appreciate the comparison (and advise anyone who hasn't played it already to go and seek it out). While I did get some inspiration from the upgrade system of Balloon Invasion, it initially started out as a Missile Command-esque game and evolved into a World War 2 shooter.

fun

but i agree with sharpnova about the planes coming all the way down the screen under intense firepower, with all stats upgraded they get to the bottom it doesnt really make sense, and its not really the size of the planes, the massive planes are fine, its the big green ones that are the problem.

i give 10/10 to be nice but it was a fun and solid game
