I wonder...
I have to wonder why this series is so popular. I didn't think it was very funny, I thought the voices were strained and the script itself didn't make me laugh. While I'm on the subject of voices, I have to say that I absolutely despise the "Scottish" accent that you put in these. It changes from a bad Scottish accent to an English one, and sometimes something that sounds like neither. In my opinion, and since I am actually Scottish, it does not work. But I suppose it's too late to complain, right?
The concept for the games were a little creative I guess, with the icicle jousting and the line of fascists in the ski run, but the commentary suffered from the stodgy voice-acting and boring script. The only saving grace, as far as I'm concerned, was in the animation; which varied with each flash artist and was of a consistent high standard. The style that Edible Castle has is fairly nice to watch, but isn't easy on the ears because of the writing and the voice-acting. So as far as sound goes, there's no points given. You get a 4/5 for what I can see
