not too great
Its an original idea, just not a good one. The game lacked fun. I quit after I got 'no moves left' because I wasn't enjoying it at all. Maybe get a new idea, as this one was a failure.
The game was fun.
It's funny though, the little "build your empire" add-on actually made the whole experience less enjoyable. I mean, so we buy these little things and they make a little picture....what's the point? It's a nice idea to have some sort of reward/upgrade system, but that part needs more development. Maybe have the empire slowly produce specials, producing more specials the bigger it is....
For the game itself, I liked very much how what at first appeared to be a very simple matching game quickly became a matter of a little luck and a lot of foresight, as more colors were added. Nice built-in difficulty curve. Music, it's pretty standard canned stuff for this genre, but it's not offensive and it's calming, if you're into that.

This is an excellent twist to those "get so many or more of something similar in a row to score" games. It adds an extra level of thinking by making you have to mentally line up a space where you're going to have to combine the big 2x2 gems. Other wise you have a bunch of big gems all over the board that you can't combine because there isn't any available space.
very creative concept!
like the idea a lot but the one thing that i didnt like was how if u ran out of time on any lvl u had to restart the whole game. i mean thats just retarded. but the game was still great and it rly makes u think!
