Reviews for "Mindy Learns a Moral"

Well, I enjoyed it a lot

I really liked your earlier work "Bad Idea" and the same goes for this as well. What I mostly enjoyed about this was your drawing and animation style. Also the voice acting was pretty nice as well.

However what I didn't like about it was the shift of tone in the story. When the phone was rejected, I gave it sympthay and that was starting to set how what I expected of the rest of it. Suicide? Revenge? I wanted to know. However, the following scene kinda messed up things. The music ruined it. The sound of the music was fine, but the lyrics simply and bluntly killed the mood. Things like that, and a few cartoony scenes.

Maybe I was expecting something serious? I guess so. However, I did enjoy it and can't wait for me.

You were warned that the mood would all changed. ;) This isn't My Little Pony!
Blah, forget the metal band music. Ignore the lyrics. It was meant to be unbearable. I mean, come on: "A cellphone FLEES ... TOWARDS... its doom"? Fleeing TOWARDS one's doom? "Darkness coz there is no light"? WTF? Lyrics don't get this bad unintentionally... well, except in Dragonfarce songs! ;D
The music was made by the organiser of the competition so I used it for that reason. XD

Anyway, the 2nd episode will be just as silly. Taking this seriously would be just too depressing.

boring

The whole premise of a bubbly, materialistic teenage girl seems a bit cliche, especially when it comes to cell phones. Nevertheless, an honest effort.
This is actually one of the few flashes that is longer than my attention span.
I suppose I'd like this better were it my cup of tea, otherwise decent in every aspect.

Lol

Mindy sounds like Amanda Bynes.

Good but...

The animation and voice acting were great, but this just seemed to drag out forever. Jokes and points were beaten to death. There were 3 or 4 points where it looked like the end only to have more pointlessly added on. The shallow teen not appreciating what she has doesn't need a lot of build up. The whole village of phones seemed unneeded as well. Like I said, the core of it is good, but really needs to be a bit more streamlined.

TmsT responds:

Jokes? Beaten? Death? To? This was about creating atmosphere, not feeding the very teenagers that it mocks their instant-gratification lolz. Consider yourself laughed at by those who understood the entire underlying theme.
*sneer!*

...........

the fuckTmst the other were way funnier
