I liked it.
But I though it was kind of hard. Good design, just one I wasn't good at. It had cute graphics and good audio. Just because I wasn't good at it doesn't mean it's bad, so I'm giving you a decent 8/10 and 4/5 stars. Good job! Again, it was very vute.

Good Game
I enjoyed this, it was kind of a kiddy type of game that I like, but I did feel that the story was discarded completely as soon as you visit the bakers. He talks about some underground thing that you expect to get, but all I did was crawl through a field and go through a door. And it's not as if this darkness eats the light blahdy blah has been done before. Although it has it's flaws I'm being unessesarily mean here. The gameplay was aquedate and you did a good choice of songs and the design was brilliant but I couldn't help thinking I was wasting my time because the best flash rhythm game EVA is Ongaku which name-wise you totally ripped it off. Overall you had cute characters, the gameplay was aquedate and it was FUN.
pretty good for a rhythm game
I liked the songs used in this game. I found it a bit hard to do the multi tasking of clicking the enemies and also hitting the notes, which I could have made easier by switching my mouse the my left hand and my keyboard to my right, but I didn't bother. I wish the ending was more complete, like do the enemies get beaten for good, does the character fail, does the darkness get driven away and come back yet again? Overall, it was a fairly good game and if I see any other rhythm games made by you, I will play them.
So much potential
With a little tweaking this could be the most fun and addicting game to ever grace Newgrounds. It's almost a cookie cutter game until you throw multi-tasking in the mix. The arrow-mashing almost brings the value of the game down since it is so cliche'. The cutscenes are totally adorable, but the story brings it down a notch for being really simple and, again, cliche'. The sound effects taken from Twilight Princess almost got on my nerves. The biggest flaw is that there is little replay value to speak of and the you feel no accomplishment from beating any of the songs.
Nowthat the negatives are out of the way, I'm focussing on the positives. The layout, artwork and attitude of this game is wonderfully adorable. You guys chose some awesome music that differ quite a bit from each other without being all over the place. I, unlike others, love the difficulty. It's been awhile since I've really been challenged by a flash game.
I suggest you guys take another wack at it and revamp a couple of things. A sequal of this could be really great.
