Mouse is an unfair advantage
If you use it, the feel is entirely different. I would prefer controlling when I shoot but auto shooting works fine. The game was pretty fun, but the health bar looked a little to simple and unappealing

Thank you for your comment. See my response to soulblud about the mouse.. I agree about the health bar, that's one part of the game I'm least proud of. But I was at the point in the project where I needed to ship it and move on to my next! :)

it takes a wile to get used to the fact it shoots itself and all the time
and the speed of the cube is interesting
basic game but interesting

Thank you for your comment! The speed of the cube is based on a capped accelleration-- pressing A changes a player.xspeed variable by 1 per frame, but the velocity has a maximum in all 4 2D directions.
