Reviews for "The ghost train"

I love the photo-montage style.

I love the photo-collage style.

The vector work looks kinda odd against the photos, but it still has an interesting feel.

I specially liked the opening screen (with the menu) and the shot at the end of the intro, when the TV shrinks away.

I was disappointed to realised that it really was more like a 'presentation' and not-at-all like a point-and-click game.

The text was kinda annoying to scroll. If you could add a real scroll bar and increase the size of the up/down buttons' hit-boxes, that'd help.

At the bottom of dracula's history, there seem to be some missing words.

Leatherface's text was kinda hard to read against the light bg. Add more contrast - maybe darkening the bg rather than lightening it...

The music is atmospheric (though they don't seem to be credited) and the visuals fun. The end was kinda funny.

I just felt that the whole idea of a presentation of horror-character-info, interspersed with minigames wasn't a great idea. Those looking for a game will be disappointed and those eager to read about the characters may be irritated by the game or presentational issues (white text on light bg & scrolling).

In the end, though I wanted to enjoy it, I just felt it didn't work.

Scary

What a treat this was a very scary game with exellant graphics.

Graphics.9/10 This is a exellant looking game the visuals are stunning ,the main one you play. Dizor looks werid but cute ,with the blue head. The menu is of high quality this is like an, interactive pc game. The monsters are scary. The game was a little small but the, high visuals make up for this.

Sound.8/10 The creepy music freaked me out espcially during, The Mike Myers one. The music and effects are good. I did noticed pauses and long time, between sounds alot of pausing.

What i loved about this is you, felt like you are in a Ghost Train. Its was very creppy and, the monsters are cool. The questions are good you dont begin again, for getting one wrong. The history is good the different one you saw were impressive, i love the ending. Not to ruin it for anyone ,but it was a great way to end it. The atmosphre was perfect i felt i wanted to escape ,from the place quick. Im really into this type of game so its a good mix.

The problem is its way to short not enough monsters ,the questions. I think had some spelling mistakes ,like the Dracula one. The question i think were wrong the one for, Victor. I found i could not get past the one where ,he was locked in. I had to press my play button. and skipped the scene which is a hugh shame. Its to short and that a real pity.

Ovreal a very good but short game.

Excellently terrifying

You put in so much horror charatcers and the such.
This is better watched with audio turned up so you get more of a fell to it.
Acctually kind of scraed you once or 2x near the outing of the game but overall its not a bad game to play.

It's a very interesting flash. You featured lots of great "horror" characters such as Frankenstein and Michael Myers. The backround informations on all the characters are very interesting.
However, the text was sometimes a bit small and thus is was hard to read. A slightly bigger text would be really helpful here.

I liked how you included the sounds and music into this flash. Every sound effect and every music theme fitted perfectly.

The puzzle part of this game is nice to loosen up the whole thing a bit.
