Reviews for "StarBaron - Skirmish"

Pretty Good!

The main things I would like to see in the next installment is the ability to choose your own color, A level builder, a campaign and customizable ships. But since this is only the Beta, 10/10!

alienpro responds:

Is that all? I'm on it :)

nice! :)

well done, it's a nice game to kill some time.
I think some stars are too close too each other. a bigger "world" with some space between the star, longer travelings, would bring more strategy to it. Think about it! ;)

Very Good Game

Very good and addictive game, could you create a option to allow new stars to be selected automatically? as i find when I'm attacking stars quickly y ships just stay on the planet i've taken and don't move. Also when all my ships are destroyed it still shows i have more than it's shown, usually these ships are invisible and unmovable surrounding some planets so if you could do something about that it'll be great! maybe you could make a custom map so that you'll be able to put planets in positions!

alienpro responds:

Yeah, the missing ships is a bug that I still haven't got yet, I am still looking though!

The selecting new stars is there, you just gotta be careful though, if you change selection after you send new ships it wont auto select, otherwise it will.

not that good

in my opinion, this game is not very good. There is only one ship class, and things like when attacking an undefended star you still can lose ships. Also, every time I play on any difficulty one enemy focuses all their ships on me and the other enemies don't attack them. Since the enemies are a computer, they can do hundreds of things at once, while you are trying to defend, attack, move and convert at the same time. You should work on these issues, updating things like ship classes, types of stars, how to (succesfully) attack enemies and the enemies attacking pattern.

Hmm

It Could be Better. its a Great Concept, but a bigger land-scape would be better, and about 10 players at one time- the bigger landscape would help at this, as the map could be huge- Use vCam to zoom into, or use the arrow keys to move about the map to see what the others are doing etc.
