Haha! Congratz, i think you are 1 of 4 people (i'm sure theres more but they havent told me). not sure if i'll make a second one though.
I really enjoyed
In particular lvl 15! it took me like 3 tries b4 I wasnt instantly killed by a lazer xD a few more tries and I was at that little final maze after the speed up part, where I sat for a good minute waiting for something to appear that would kill me not believing it would be that easy xD
Great game overall, most importantly it was fun 2 play. Your song selection was top notch my only issue was that some of the art was a little weak, but then again this is a mouse avoider game and the file was very large so i can imagine that making this prittier would detract from the overall experience.
Very creative too, well xpt for lvl 1 xD
If you do make a mouse 2 or w/e plz make some insanely hard levls! These werent quite frustrating enough for me :D
Wow! You actually completed level 15! congrats on that! Thanks for being so patient. not sure if i'll make another one though, maybe quite a while later when i find i have the time. thanks for ur review
hehe nice
I really enjoyed this game. I greatly enjoyed the music, the graphics, and especially the creativity. I think you did a good job of making a generic mouse avoider game into something really cool, like the boulder level. Nice job all around, I really enjoyed it. And thanks for having the game go right into hard stuff, I hate it when these games make you go through about 15 intro levels that are easy and just a waste of your time
Thanks for your review
URGH!!
the first part was actually fun, but when i went further, it was just horrible for me. i can't really say i like this game, but i can't say i hate it. 6/10. man, when you said it can get really frustrating, YOU WERE RIGHT!!!! lol
Thanks. Some levels still frustrate me.
well
just thought i would let you know there are 2 ways to prevent cheating, kinda just made them up on the spot so i dont know how well they would work out
1. record the distance between where the mouse is, and where the mouse was last frame:
var speed = Math.sqrt(thex,they);
if(speed>MAXSPEED){
cheat = true;
}
var thex = _root._xmouse;
var they = _root._ymouse
of course on load thex and they are 0, and you have to determine a maximum acceleration that someone could achieve with their mouse without hitting a wall
(shit, no clue if you guys understand that, engineering student talking here)
2. much easier
have invisible checkpoints along the correct path that are pretty big, but need to be hit in order for you to be able to win, wow, why did I bother saying the first idea...
Thanks, your 1st way seems to be in a weird language i dont understand. But i might try it some time. If i were to do a second game i will definitely use the invisible checkpoints. Thanks for your help.
