Reviews for "Aria (baroque)"

I'm not qualified to critique this, but I like it a damn lot.

well for most people here its unique and this a very nice hommage to bach good work

Very nice.

Simply beautiful, but where are baroque ornaments? Where is harpsichord's sound? It is surely baroque-feeling, but it could be still even better.

Thanks for your comment!

As far as ornamentation and harpsichord goes, this was never really intended as an accurate pastiche, but rather as a hommage.

mmmm

odd in a good way, has some nostalgia to it and reminds me to certain parts of the ending credits song in howl's moving castle

Aria

Congratulations. This piece has earned a nine. This is a revolution of audio work on Newgrounds. This is indeed the first baroque piece of seen here. The execution is flawless, and the piano solo is finely orchestrated. This piece is filled with varying ideas, and you weave theme together like web. Each phrase could develop into its own story, but it's all held together here. There is a beautiful climax and ending. Wonderfully reminiscent of Prague, this piece is without a doubt the best, and only of it's time on Newgrounds. There is simply so much to praise. Phrasing, dynamic contrast. In an age of rock and metal, we are so rarely greeted with a slow lasting piece which is able to generate such a nostalgic, and elegant calm. Very, very solid.
Thank you descara sir,
It was a pleasant experience reviewing this, as well as your other work.
