Reviews for "Tails: Cosmic Rush"

Insane.

That was just so insane lol ^.^

Excellent Job

Nice work on this game. Tails is one of my most favorite (Not to mention Classic) Characters. This is already starting to look like Sonic Unleashed in a similar way. It is quite a challenge, but hey every game has to be challenging otherwise you get bored of it. Am I right? lol

Allow me to clarify...

I think this deserves an average score, and I'd like to explain why. Your graphics are excellent, the controls work really well and the animation is only really lacking a little polish, so for all that you should be applauded.

However, you commit the cardinal sin of platform/action games, we aren't given fair reaction time. The baseline should be that someone who has a full command of the skillset should beat the game clean. But several times I found that I had to be moving into position before I could see the obstacle (only knowing because it had previously killed me). And beyond that, any attempt to predict the next quick obstacle without foreknowledge is usually futile as the obstacles are almost impossible to determine before they're on top of you.

We're also unduly punished for things we couldn't have known. I missed the first launch pad, and when I saw something ahead I moved to avoid it, but it simply blew me up without warning. This isn't fair gaming, and is immensely frustrating. I understand that the effect (when done correctly) looked cool but you have to provide alternative routes on the more easily missed actions like this.

However, your stages are short so the autosave feature is welcome and helpful, but I'd prefer to be able to get through without having to die three or four times, no matter how well placed the saves are.

A really good effort, but if you do another one, think guitar hero, let us see only slightly further ahead, have a bit of a rethink in terms of obstacles (the explosive could maybe offer a gap to the extreme left or right) and the character could do with being further back and smaller, as they tend to visually block central obstacles.

Hope that's all clear. It's a shame about the .FLA and I hope you do another one.

I got stuck -_-'

Literally. During the 2-D area, I jumped into a bomb and fell below onto a spring. He was just continually jumping on the spring and not going anywhere. I had to quit because of that >:/

I recommend the option to restart at the last checkpoint by pressing a button onscreen or fixing the ability to manually continue by holding forward or something.

sweet

I beat it!!!
