Needs refinement, but potential is there.

Horrible, if not an embarrassment to your seemingly fan interest in Naruto.
You've somehow turned you somewhat a tribute flash to Naruto into degrading it further for fans and non fans alike.
Unimpressive at best and could use improvement. I can see the concept is there, which is great, but its delivery is horrible.
A good critic states the obvious, and is not afraid to be honest. I hope you see the big picture and turn your direction else with more effort.

My score contradicts the title, no? But hold on a sec, I'll explain. I liked the concept, but the execution could use a LOT of work. I do realize you made these a long time ago, and I'm sure you have a busy schedule, but if you have spare time to remake this with your current (most likely improved) skills, these could go somewhere.

Most of the subtraction of stars is because you submitted something that it seems you aren't too proud/confident of. If you can't put something in expecting a good score, I can guarantee the NG community will agree with you, then take it to the next level. Only submit something you think is ready otherwise you're wasting people's time and well... let's face it, people on here are cranky =P

I'm not much of a Naruto fan, and I admit some of the jokes weren't too funny, but it's got a kind of random/slipshod humor that I found rather charming. The humor could use some refinement, but not so much as to make it tight-lipped, know what I mean?

I'll be completely honest, this was horrible. But I see a very faint glimmer of hope in it as well. Try again, if possible =)

The animation is very poor, there are no backgrounds, there needs to be more emotion expressed, and the story is very weak. The first thing I'd work on is making backgrounds for each scene. This can help much more than you might think. It helps create the atmosphere, to get you more involved in the story.

Akatsuki? "Sunrise?"

-Little to no actual animation
-Music that was too loud
-Unoriginal, overused characters
-Little attention payed to script writing
-Zero voice acting
-Tenuous grasp of standard drawing techniques

All these are characteristics of animators who have not practiced enough, and by the looks of this animation, you need more practice.

Now I know I may sound harsh; you're probably new to flash or are 13 or both (since Naruto is predominately enjoyed by 13 year olds). My point still stands: you should practice for a long time on your own before you try submitting things. When I first got flash, I had the advantage of already being able to draw, but it still took me a long time to get anywhere near good enough to make something I was proud enough of to submit to Newgrounds. I made dozens of test animations that only myself and a few friends ever saw, and now I have an animation with a score over 4.0.

It's not a hunch, it's truth: a lot of practice is required before anyone gets good with anything artistic. Flash is no different. Sit down, draw for 6 months straight, and then try again. If you're not ready after 6 months of continuous hard work, I'll eat my hat.
