Reviews for "Ringmania 2"

Too hard.

Imagine the first Ringmania but you move the cursor insted of spining it and make it 10x harder and faster. stick with the first one, If you could speed the game down by 1/2.

A neat puzzle-mouse game

The concept of this submission is simple but entertaining nontheless. The game is a little bit like any of the other piece-fitting, color-matching games out there, with the unique aspect of moving your entire gameboard around to catch objects, versus the more expected control system of moving falling objects or rotating your collection area.

You pilot a configuration of colored rings, magnets, and solid spheres with your mouse, trying to catch or avoid catching colored rings that fly on to the screen from the edges. Your magnets pull colored rings toward them, your solid spheres knock them away, and once a colored ring touches a magnet or another colored ring stuck to your configuration, it sticks. The objective is familiar to us all: match three colored rings, and those three rings, as well as any rings with no alternate connection to your congiruation, disappear.

So it's like any other color-matching puzzle game in that regard, but something about moving your entire gameboard around to skillfully manipulate which rings you catch where, and which rings you miss, makes this submission stand out from the slew of other row-of-three-colored-thingy games. It's half puzzle, half mouse-skills, and a good diversion for a few minutes.

Better than the original, but still same qualities that held the original back from all tens. I like the mouse control, makes the game easier, but needs to be more meat to the game. The game itself is quite fun and addicting, but lack of unlocks, and the such make it just a main course with now side dishes.
