Reviews for "Monster's Dream"

i liked it

i liked this movie.

Good

Nice presentation along with execution. The menu system was unique and fun. All of your animation was smooth looking, interesting, and flawless. I especialy liked the extras feature which realy gets you to be part of the creation. Nice work. Maybe next time you can add sound effects or voices.

wawa

dear wawa,
I really liked your submission. However, I am sorry that i wasn't given the proper credit in terms of the hours i spent alone in your bed (night after night) (alone) while you worked on this. I will give you a ten anyway. And, to add, please, all, wait for my next tennis masterpiece. A for effort.

animatorjones responds:

aww dumplin bear <3

you can't embarrass me even if you tried haha

pfft alone?!? were you alone while you were making your tennis masterpiece too or am i a total failure all around the board.

dont worry though, you'll be credited next time babe.

DAMN

well idk about the rest of you but i wany the song thats neing played in the menu!! lol great job i always appreciate abstract/random work =]

pretty cool

1st. who the hell still has dial up?
2nd. slight Lucy (in) Sky (of) Diamonds reference with the pyramid? no? well if you dont get the what im talking about then i guess not... (note to crackpanda, i think that the pyramid clearly hints it, you are a twat.)
3rd. very slick and smooth. just a tad bit short, i would of liked to see the monster exploring the dream a bit more before the actual action. If it was longer, i would of voted 9. Not 10, because it is stile missing the certain something. the "dream" concept has been explored before, and quite frankly in a much better way by other artists. It would be insulting for others to give you a perfect score, don't take it the bad way, i really liked it, that is why the review is so long.
peace out.

animatorjones responds:

thanks.

yeah i agree, this movie doesn't explore a dream in the sense that they have limitless boundaries and give the dreamer options to things not possible in reality, mostly because this is more like a "dreamscape reality"

i understand what you mean though, there have been some animations out there that really wow you when it comes to that Dream feel. i guess i was going a softer route. none the less you make a completely valid point.

the length is another issue i understand and the next pieces will be longer.

lastly... i had dial up for a way too long :D

thanks for the review!
