Reviews for "Multiplayer Snake"

Nifty

Very fluid and challenging game.

A really well produced multiplayer game. The visuals are adequate and the interface is great.

A really fun little game.

Thanks a bunch for the review! I'm glad you liked it. Hope you'll stick around and play it again to see any updates I make to it.

Nice

i really enjoyed playing this, i never realized that multiplayer snake could be fun. A background and music could improve it though and setting the win in eating 15 apples.

Not a bad game

it's not a bad game at all, however, i think you should redo the controls so you go in the direction you want to instead of having like, a spining snake (for instance, when you press left you only go to the left, when you press up, you go upward, etc etc... instead of pressing left to go round)

A solid multiplayer version of a classic game.

This was highly enjoyable, as any other game, but it lacked originality. Most people have played this exact same game many times before, but the human interaction dimension makes it different from the rest. It is my personal opinion that you should not have implemented the 360 degrees of freedom. Other than these issues, this game was a great remake of everyone's favorite classic game.

BigJKO responds:

I thought about having it like absolute classic Snake, with grid-based movement but in the end I felt it would be too accurate for a frantic multiplayer game.

About being original, you're right, it's not. But, boy am I glad the first multiplayer game I've ever made was a Snake game. If I'd have gone with anything more complex, or original, for my first multi-game this would've taken ages and probably never come out. I've learned a lot, though. So there's no telling what I'd make when I'm done with this. Maybe something a tad original? ;)

Thanks for the review!
