Pretty funny
I like it. This is why we need sprites sometimes, to make really good animations that are simply funny.

too much dialogue
it was nice but there was too much talking which you could have removed, leave more space for animations and speed everything up a bit
it was ok but-
it was the biggest super mario bros Z rip off, EVER.
This is a great series but....
It seems a little bit similar to the Super Mario Bros. Z series, just changed a lot of things except the fighting was a lot more similar. I can't wait for the next episode and see what's going to happen with our heros. I also realized that you used pokemon sprites in your flash as the guardians. And another thing, change some of the music that's a little more suitable for the flash, not that Narturo music. It's just boring and doesn't follow with the series. Also reading your comments and saying university meaning that you are a college, I have to say that's really impressive since you have enough time to make a good flash series while studying and going to classes and learning. Most flashes I see are made by young high school teenagers who have a lot of time on their hands, so most make flashes to put on Newgrounds, which most aren't that good, or make videos to put on YouTube. I am amazed. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see the next episode of this.
It was OK!
I like the animation and story, but there is one thing that bothers me, somewhere you should state that the spacebar is the way to move from scene to scene.
