tips + review
have you got dual gem mastery, these are very useful combos of gems:
lime+green: chain hit + poison poisons every monster in the chain...
lime+orange: for every hit you get an amount of mana, with chain hit you can double/triple if you're lucky even 500% hit special!
lime+slow: you slow all enemies in the chain
I have found out that splash doesnt support other specials, (which I think is a bug) so no area effect specials. dont make combos with red gems in the hope enemies in an area will be poisoned, they wont.
tip for upgrading (dual) gems:
many grade 1 gems is BETTER then several higher grade gems. with dual gems, when you upgrade with a grade 2 or higher of 1 special, the other special will be diminished. this wont happen when upgrading with grade 1 gems, so when you want a very strong poison with chain hit gem, upgrade it with many grade 1 green and lime gems... it takes alot more mana, but its more useful for adding 2 strong specials.

Wow! I didn't expect this when I clicked the icon! beautiful animations forced me to put the quality on low >.< however, it would be better when higher grade gems had larger/faster/better animations then lower grade, like lower grade would only have 1 glowing ball like now, higher grade could be chargin and release a lightning bolt for example, grade 8 gems with the same small balls as grade 1 isn't very cool, also the splash indicator doesnt work with other specials, and the splash radius is WAY too small in the higher grade gems... the splash also barely deals damage as it seems to weaken the further from the actual bolt you go (though that is nice, you should keep it, just make the damage a bit higher but still diminishing) I suggest increasing the splash to around 3 times what it is now... but those are the only minor flaws I could detect! well, I'm off playing more GemCraft ^^!
