Reviews for "sherry enema: #1"

Awesome animation!

i think Lilium put it quite well, even through such basic animation, it was full of satire and irony. i also loved how it shows how politicians work, through never actually answering the question entirely, and in doing so can never actually be catagorized into either side of the debate, in this case using his christianity to give people the answer they want to hear, without the question actually being answered. this is brilliantly written, and i really cant stop watching, thanks for making such an awesome animation.

Cambo responds:

cool, thanks for the review mate. This one's definitely a lot more understated than the second one - I tried to deliberately avoid cheap gags by using actual arguments that pro-life campaigners make and wording it the way in a way that was realistic - the idea being that the giggles come from the realism.

Anyway I'm glad you liked it, there's plenty more to come.

I love all the people voting 10 and NOT GETTING IT

I must admit, I love this flash. It's so very simple, and yet, so wonderful. I love political satire and irony, and this is so full of it it makes me all gooey and warm inside. I also can't help but smile at the plethora of people giving you 5's and 10's who are making the exact same argument as the right wing uberchristian in this short.... Oh, the happiness is unending.

I have no real complaints about any of this, the animation (what little there was) was done well, smooth and fluid. The style is simple but functional. I can't say much for the voice acting as it was really just... the one person reading two sets of lines, but a complete cast wasn't needed to make your point, so that's fine.

And I love me a man with glasses. Even if he doesn't have a mouth. XD

Cambo responds:

I know eh, I'm loving the reviews to both flashes.

PS: I've re-written this response like four times now because I'm trying to look cool. I think it worked pretty well.

Refreshing

it's more intelectual than your average Newgrounds cartoon,
so 10/10 for creativity ^^

so true

i just dont get why people have abortions, the right thing to do is to have the child, and if u dont want it put it in a foster home, whats so hard about that?

Cambo responds:

I agree, I don't think there's anything hard about giving birth then never seeing the child again.

im not against womens right to choose

i just think they should deal with the consequences of their actions. this is a bit of a stretch but i cant find a better example. imagine a guy murders some other guy. should the murderer have to face the consequences of his actions? here's a less extreme example. i decide to not pay my phone bill. im going to have to deal with the consequences of them shutting off my phone. i dont get a choice in the matter.

Cambo responds:

i don't see the logic, unless you're suggesting abortion is murder, which is pretty sketchy.

even inferring that women need to "deal with the consequences" indicates that abortions are the wrong thing to do.

Also it's funny how you say "you're not against a woman's right to choose" but then say you'd rather have getting an abortion like not paying your phone bill, so that the phone company shuts off your phone - you want the system to be set up so that they "don't get a choice in the matter".
