Reviews for "Pop Pirates"

WOW

What a fantastic game...who could have thought that an antivirus's job could be fun! lol...nice work! Keep it up!

Great!

That was great!! its going in my favs :)

Great!!!!

Hope you make Pop Pirates 2.0!
Its a great game man, dont stop!

Losing power-ups is bad!!

The character is huge, and whenever you get hit you lose your power. This creates a snowball effect where getting hit causes you to be weaker which makes you get hit more often and so on. It is VERY annoying. Fun game, and I liked it alot. I just wish that the power-ups spawned in a predictable way (possibly a certain enemy makes them spawn, or every # of kills you get one), the character was smaller, there was a button for auto-fire (my finger is sore), and power-ups didn't leave on death. Those things would make it much more fun IMO.

I see where you said keeping the power-ups makes it easy, but if your going to make power-ups leave on death we might as well only have one life. That is essentially the same thing. Once you lose your stuff, you cannot fight back. (Dodging is kinda hard on such a small screen with a huge character.)

Another solution to the big character thing would be to increase the screen size instead.

Amesome game!

Great gameplay, well designed and definitely good fun.
The anti-virus/computer theme goes well with this game, especially with how the weapons are names (e.g. FIREwall, megaBITE). They upgrade nicely, although it can get a bit had to tell what's going on when you have high level firewall being shot out in front of you.

I've seen how some people are complaining about how dying takes away too many upgrades, but all arcade games like this need to be harsh when lives are lost, otherwise you could just blow everything out of your way and it would be no fun! Although maybe you could add a "fun mode" where you do just this (but don't use highscores).
