Reviews for "Minushi - Chapter 19"

Geez!

WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH YOU REVIEWERS?!?!? You have got to be the most lowdown cock sucking son of a bitches I have ever seen. Your all just fucking jelouse that Tyler is the greatest animatior then you all are! In fact. You all suck balls!

I like the animation. The storyline was awesome starting off a journey from home to find a member of the family that meant so much to them. That's what the main theme of the story was about!

Peice of shit.

That's all I have to say for this over hyped abomination, the first few episodes showed promise yes, but as time went on everything just became atrocious and unredeemable.

#1 Animation:
Tyler Gibb has to be one of the worst independant animator's I've ever seen before, if Tyler Gibb was 15 or somthing, he'd have my applause. But no, we're looking at the work of a 30 year old man who's too lazy to produce animation that was more than 10 FPS. The animation consists of 3 frames at best, it is not fully animated, it's half assesed, also the fact that you went on and told everyone that you werent at fault for your poor animation skills but it was our PC's? Bullshit! If I can watch Madness 5 without lagging I believe that I can watch what you claim to be an animated, cinimatic masterpeice. What? You're still not going to give us the version with value? Hhmmmm, I'm beginning to think that Minushi is just a crap flash animated by the worst artist, animator and writer I've ever had the burdan to lay my eye's on. Go to some art classes you half wit!

#2 Plot
What we're basically looking at is a young boy who meets a giant, freindly robot that barely speaks english that's protective over the young boy who then develops a freindship with the young boy, but then the military see's the robot as a threat and they want the robot destroyed but the young boy wont let them- blah blah blah. Wait, where have I seen this before? Oh wait, maybe a movie called THE IRON GIANT!? Sound fimilar Gibb? It should, cause that's basically what your half assesed movie is! Oh wait, we have another formula in the mix, why it's an evil, relentless android that seeks to destroy a young girl and her boyfriend in order to replicate his own kind that eventually gets blown up by a bomb but survives and then continues his endless rampage on our hereos. Wait, this plotline reiks of THE TERMINATOR! My god are you terrible at originality. Go take writting lessons before you rip off other peoples material you walking abomination!

#3 Behind the scenes
You really think that people are gonna care about this crap flash enough to want to know how you created such an atrocity? I dont wanna see how you were too cheap to buy a pop filter for a microphone and decided to compencate for it by covering it up with a damp towel! That's sooo interesting! Especially when I share no interest for it!

#4 Voice acting
Where on Earth did you find these people? They're terrible! This has to be the worst voice acting I've ever seen. They were not involved with the plot, they barely showed emotion and I dont think your wife's choice career was to be a voice actor Gibb [another shot at your behind the scenes crap]

#5 False Claims
Why oh why do you keep insisting that this is a cinamatic masterpeice? Why oh why are you so stubborn to face the fact that this is shamfull to praise. If it was trully that good I'm sure that it would have made an appearance on the front page every time you released a chapter! You keep saying that the animation is only poor because all of our PC's are incapable of comprehending animation. That's why we force people to use a loading bar you bumbling imbicule! The animation should be smooth and perfect! But instead you insisted that it was perfect as is and decided to leave it at what? 5 Frames Per Second? I mean you're a grown man, and you animate like a 15 year old! Shame on you for insulting Xombie! Shame on you for making claims that Minushi is a cinimatic anime masterpeice! You want an animated, cinimatic masterpeice!? Go watch Tekkonkinkreet and come back to us and tell us what you think of Minushi out of comparison. I bet it'll blow you away considering the fact that the most you could produce or comprehend are cave man drawings! Come back with your wise ass bullshit when you have somthing to back up those bullshit claims!

Gooday and good luck on your next project, I can see from miles that you will really, really, really need it.

Overall? Rather forgettable...

So, having watched the entire series, I'm pretty unimpressed. Not with the technical side of the production so much - I absolutely acknowledge the time and effort it must have taken to create Minushi, and certainly praise the author for having the skill and willpower to finish the project. The animation and artwork, while not overly spectacular, are above average and sufficient to express the author's ideas. The first few episodes were promising, but the project quickly began to go downhill.

I felt there were a lot of flaws in this work: the storyline was meandering, insipid, and felt like the author lost his handle on focus and pacing about halfway through. The story didn't explain any of the mysteries and questions the earlier episodes indicated would be important, and the Tinker/medallion subplot that initially seemed to be a key feature was turned into a laughably meaningless and irrelevant side-issue (as I mentioned in my review of episode 18). In addition, the tedious, drawn-out military action, the childish good/bad distinctions, and Trixi's repetitive whining to her brother about how the giants "weren't bad" were poorly thought out, especially as in the latter situation she'd only just encountered them and there was never a straightfoward answer given as to whether the giants were actually good, either. Also, the author wants us to believe that *nobody* in power ever considered that the giants might not be overtly hostile? Seriously?

The voice acting for the main characters was okay for the most part, but the secondary characters (especially the woman in the destroyed town earlier in the piece) ranked from bad to awful-beyond-belief.

As for the ending, it is no surprise that the speech given in the epilogue is a generic, cheesy, cornball "after school special" message, mostly because the story itself doesn't really have any meaning to it, or expressed within it.

I will finish by venting for a moment: For the love of all that is holy, whose idea was it to use that god-awfully amateurish, offensively off-key wailing as the end-credit song? I had to make sure my ears weren't bleeding after hearing that untalented tripe.

Will keep an eye out for other projects by this author; I have faith that experience and feedback will lend themselves to superior results in subsequent narratives. ^_^

Thats It???

Agh I expected something a little better, but i give a ten because i've been waiting for it....

good series and good enough ending...

but srsly the way u draw faces is a little strange at times. trixi's jawbones are cheek bones at the same time and many of the characters have chins so pointy that they could be used as weapons. khal's eyes are strange ovals that go upward at a 45 degree angle. ezra's nostrils look like warts when u look at him at frontal view. lastly, most of the characters have strange semi-circle shaped eyes and enormous pupils that take up most of the cornea (SP?). overall the drawing is way too goofy for me.
