What a great idea!

Since most posters to the portal never read tutorials on sites (like flashkit.com) you have to put them where they will see them : the portal! Great idea! I think it would help, though, if you had a site with sample files for users to play with. If you put those up I will send you some game open source :). Do you think it would be a good idea to post tutorial movies in the portal about making decent games?

Thanks for the support Kitten, although I don't have a site of my own.

Ahem...

The bouncing ball shit may be boring but it is meant to teach how things stretch and contort... Your walking cycle sucked.. that wasn't no where near realistic.. check out www.idleworm.com and look at his Animation Tutorials...

capn-g responds:

Actually, the focus of the ball bounce is elemetal timing. Stretch and squash (ie volume) can be taught simultaneously, but doesn't really come into focus until you reach facial animation. As for the walk cycle, I SAID it was ugly and APOLOGIZED for it in the damn movie!

Nice Work

Hey It's cool, great for beginners. But I'm not really that new to flash (Just suck at action scripting) I like that style of animation... Its the kind I use, I'm planning to make some upcomming movies now that I feel comfortable with flash. But from your tutorial I learned how to move the center... I've always needed to know that.

Nice

like it!

If only when the first time I try to learn Flash I found this tutorial...
