too scattered and lack shape
First, I have to dissagree with fart master -- the Kurosawa reference was the best part, though you are right the techno tore the soul out of it. I would have liked to see the rhyme Kurosawa employs. I dont think it needed to be as flashy. I think you could have taken your time and at the same time cut things out. the aerial shot was nice, but coupling it with a slow pensive moment -- a real seven samuri thing would have helped you out. The artwork could have been slower too -- I dont know if i agree about 'line work' but more fill work -- there were hardly any shapes. it is as if you for got that shapes can be used to document space -- and that is totally the japanese reference there -- weather it be scrolls, old woodblocks or contemory anime -- its all about shapes. Even Murikami gets it with shape. You just gave us hatches.

Great solid animation, but it's just plain weird. And did you have to draw balls hanging from the dog, srsly!
good direction, fair delivery
I too found the music overly repeditive and eventually irriating. I think the Kurosawa was interesting, though the medocre techno killed that reference for me. The frisbee intro was pretty amusing-cute americana -- hippies under powerlines (i get it), and returning to that was cute in the end, but i think you had an opportunity to amp up humor rather than just being cute.
Secondly, the Kurosawa reference deserves a little better line work -- or at least s smoother animations.
