Reviews for "Zelda: UO Epis:6"

Good graphics don't make a good flas.

Horrible, HORRIBLE plot, poor voice actors, and the music didn't fit the scenes. I would rate it lower, but the graphics aren't too bad.

Not bad.

PROS: Nice artwork, decent animation, interesting plot, great music, half of the voices.

CONS: Malon's voice, Diggs and Kogora(?) both have the "any situation is a joke to me" attitude that generally becomes irritating with more than one character, the delivery of some of Diggs' lines was rather corny, plot seemed to move along a little slow, this episode was low on action, Tingle was in this, half of the voices.

And though this didn't affect my choice of score, the way you pronounced Malon like "Mall-on" was a little weird to me. Everyone I know calls her "Mal-on" like "Mal Gore" or "Malabama". Just a personal preference I suppose, but interesting to note. I look forward to the next one.

Not THAT bad...

To be honest, your opening credits fooled me. You're certainly a better animator than your static art suggests.

Good things, good things: You've developed a good eye for how the heads move, and I was impressed by the quality of the sound.

Now for stuff you can improve on: the disjoint in art styles is jarring and feels a little amateurish - it shows very clearly how the background was developed on a completely different medium. Also, there doesn't seem to be a uniform eye style - Link and Digg's personalities don't reflect well (i.e. Link comes across overly serious, as does Digg, despite Digg being more vivacious, I'm assuming). A little more anatomy work would help as well - all the people presented thus far feel overly stiff and unnatural. I think your best presentation here was Tingle.

As for non-art related stuff, I feel the exposition needed more work. I understand this is an episodic adventure, but most episodes (good ones at that) are able to let the viewer fill in the blanks fairly quickly. On this one I had to work a little bit. Also, the dialogue and animation could be linked together much tighter - my ears suggested a different sequence of events, but what I was seeing told me otherwise.

Keep it up!

its not bad

im a big fan of your work but i dont think u put enough time into this
the movement was bad lik when the guy nodded and the back rounds were cool an all but they didbt match what u were trying to do like the flying scene u should of made the ship a dinger color it was still ok though 6/10

no diggs?

i want diggs back!
