Nice idea
Well, there were some nice animations in there, and also some good an creative ideas, but most of it wasn't that good. But I think It's a good thing doing this to let the animators see, how the others approach a certain problem. For viewers I guess It's not really interesting but for actual animators it might.
Another Thing I wanted to say is, if you do a competition for flash animators, I don't thing it's a good Idea to let people vote on the submissions. You should put together a three men flash veteran jury to evaluate the submissions. This might be a little more fair to the animators. But this is only my opinion. If you realy want to involve a community make this an extra award like "darling of the public".
And now something about the presentation. I have a few points of criticism here. The tutorial voice thing was mentioned before, so I'm not going to talk about this. But pleas, at least give me the Possibility to stop the annoying music.
And another thing, didn't pay attention to it throughout all of the animations, but I noticed at least once, that you posted the names in black on a dark background, like in the mermaid animation. Maybe you lost track of it and it happened accidentally. I mean, there were a lot of animations, but for a competition you should maybe check it twice, so that people can read the names.
On the whole, good idea, but in my opinion there are some points you could improve on.
