Fascinating
I never played the game, and yet I really enjoy this tune. Usually the pure nostalgia or lack therof influences my vote, but you earned your 5 out of 5 and 9 out of 10 stars. The only reason I didn't give you 10 was that it was just a little bit repetitive. Nicely done, though.
Catchy
Very good. The choice of instruments is spot on. The only complaint I have is it's too repetitive, but then again, so was the original.

the good old days
I downloaded Startropics on to my wii and I still have the origional Star tropics 2: Zoda's revenge on the NES. Listening to this makes me want to play them real bad. Very Nice.
